Ici, le Parc naturel r\u00e9gional du Queyras d\u00e9ploie des paysages puissants, vastes for\u00eats de m\u00e9l\u00e8zes, alpages d\u2019altitude et villages rares. Peu d\u2019habitants, mais une montagne encore pleinement travaill\u00e9e. Et partag\u00e9e.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00ab On se trouve sur un territoire embl\u00e9matique du Queyras : le lac du Laus \u00bb, r\u00e9sume Yolande Diter, directrice adjointe du Parc naturel r\u00e9gional. \u00ab La for\u00eat occupe une grande partie de l\u2019espace, mais nous sommes surtout un territoire d\u2019alpages. De haute montagne. \u00bb Le chiffre est \u00e9loquent : 37 alpages, qui accueillent chaque \u00e9t\u00e9 des vaches locales et pr\u00e8s de 40 000 brebis venues pour l\u2019essentiel de Provence. Elles montent en juin, redescendent en octobre, au rythme de la neige. Il y a un cahier des charges tr\u00e8s strict pour l\u2019AOP \u00bb, explique V\u00e9ronique, en ouvrant les portes des caves. Les meules align\u00e9es racontent le vivant : m\u00eames gestes mais r\u00e9sultats diff\u00e9rents. \u00ab La richesse du lait, le climat, l\u2019humidit\u00e9, tout joue. On travaille avec le lait cru et avec le vivant. C\u2019est \u00e0 la fois la contrainte et la richesse. \u00bb<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Un artisanat \u00e0 taille humaine, coop\u00e9ratif, qui peine parfois \u00e0 suivre la demande. \u00ab Le Bleu du Queyras, \u00e7a rigole pas \u00bb, sourit-elle. \u00ab Mais pour produire plus, il faut plus de lait. \u00bb<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En amont, chez les \u00e9leveurs, ce lien au vivant est quotidien. \u00c0 la ferme des Quatre Vents, \u00e0 Guillestre, Christian Court conna\u00eet chacune de ses vaches. Montb\u00e9liardes, abondances, robes reconnaissables, caract\u00e8res affirm\u00e9s. \u00ab Tu vois celle-l\u00e0, celle qui a les lunettes de soleil l\u00e0, c&rsquo;est Lib\u00e9lule, c&rsquo;est son pr\u00e9nom. La m\u00e8re de celle-l\u00e0, elle a 15 ans. Elles savent tr\u00e8s bien qui c\u2019est qui les touche. Elles nous connaissent \u00bb, glisse-t-il, mi-s\u00e9rieux, mi-amus\u00e9. Ici, le lait est une relation autant qu\u2019une mati\u00e8re premi\u00e8re.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Une nouvelle g\u00e9n\u00e9ration \u00e0 la montagne<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Plus haut dans la vall\u00e9e, \u00e0 Arvieux, la ferme des Moulins incarne un autre visage du pastoralisme : celui du collectif et de l\u2019installation de jeunes venus de la ville. Ils sont quatre, associ\u00e9s, \u00e0 avoir repris une ch\u00e8vrerie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00ab On vend tout localement, dans le Queyras et \u00e0 Guillestre \u00bb, raconte Lilla. March\u00e9s, vente \u00e0 la ferme, restaurateurs : la demande d\u00e9passe parfois la production. \u00ab On avait peur au d\u00e9but. Finalement, tout s\u2019est tr\u00e8s bien vendu. \u00bb<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Au-del\u00e0 de l\u2019\u00e9conomie, c\u2019est un choix de vie. \u00ab On voulait allier l\u2019\u00e9levage et l\u2019accueil, faire d\u00e9couvrir notre m\u00e9tier \u00bb, explique Kayline. Diversifier pour s\u00e9curiser, transmettre pour donner du sens. \u00ab S\u2019installer en collectif, ce n\u2019est pas une invention. Les fermes \u00e9taient familiales avant. Trois patous montent la garde. \u00ab Sur une petite unit\u00e9 comme \u00e7a, c\u2019est bien \u00bb, explique-t-il. Les attaques existent, mais restent limit\u00e9es quand les mesures sont en place. \u00ab La baisse de la pr\u00e9dation repose sur trois piliers : la pr\u00e9sence humaine, les chiens de protection et la mise en parc nocturne. \u00bb<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le Parc naturel accompagne concr\u00e8tement les \u00e9leveurs : constats de dommages, r\u00e9seau radio reliant une soixantaine de bergers, cabanes h\u00e9liportables pr\u00eat\u00e9es pour permettre une pr\u00e9sence humaine l\u00e0 o\u00f9 les troupeaux n\u2019allaient plus. \u00ab Ces outils permettent de reconqu\u00e9rir certains secteurs abandonn\u00e9s \u00e0 cause du loup \u00bb, souligne Fabrice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sur son ordinateur, les images des pi\u00e8ges photographiques d\u00e9filent. Un loup, puis un autre, \u00e0 quelques jours d\u2019intervalle. Pr\u00e9sence r\u00e9elle, document\u00e9e, int\u00e9gr\u00e9e \u00e0 la gestion du territoire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Une montagne en \u00e9quilibre<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Le Queyras ne nie ni les tensions ni les difficult\u00e9s. Mais ici, le pastoralisme n\u2019est pas un vestige : c\u2019est un syst\u00e8me vivant, qui \u00e9volue, innove, s\u2019organise collectivement. Fromages d\u2019exception, jeunes installations, outils de coexistence : la montagne cherche son \u00e9quilibre, sans nostalgie ni renoncement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En quittant le Queyras, le sentiment qui domine est celui d\u2019une confiance lucide. Dans ce territoire rude et magnifique, hommes, b\u00eates et loups continuent d\u2019apprendre \u00e0 vivre ensemble.
